Domestic incident results in hours-long SWAT team standoff in Lebanon County; arrest made

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Bethel Township man is in custody after a domestic incident resulted in hours-long standoff with police and a SWAT team at his home Tuesday.

According to the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office, David Strause II, 43, allegedly assaulted his wife following an argument, smashed her phone when she called 911 and then shot at her vehicle as she fled their home early Tuesday morning.
