Lancaster County man pleads guilty to DUI crash that killed 1 man, injured woman on Christmas Day in 2022

LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster County man pleaded guilty last month to killing a man and seriously injuring his elderly wife after crashing into them head-on while driving under the influence of drugs on Christmas Day in 2022, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

David Ray Whisman, 43, of Providence Township, pleaded guilty before Judge Dennis Reinaker on Jan. 20 to 10 different offenses including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.

Reinaker will sentence Whisman after the conclusion of a pre-sentence investigation, prosecutors said…
