LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Residents in a Lancaster County neighborhood are dealing with a giant sinkhole that has continued to grow over the past few days.
The sinkhole opened up earlier this week after a water main break in East Earl Township. The break caused the sinkhole to expand and caused two additional water main breaks. Since it first opened up, the sinkhole hasn’t stopped growing.
Township Manager Jenna Reigle said the sinkhole is currently 60 feet wide. Crews still don’t know the exact depth. The water main break has been repaired, but the sinkhole will take some time to resolve…
