Lancaster County man pleads guilty to killing man in ’22 Christmas Day DUI crash

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Providence Township man pleaded guilty in January to killing an elderly man and seriously injuring his wife during a head-on crash on Christmas Day while on drugs.

The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office announced that David Whisman, 43, was driving under the influence of fentanyl and other substances when he smashed into a vehicle driven by Frank Cascarella’s wife.
