Years after explosive growth, famed central PA cookie company to file for bankruptcy

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster County-based cookie company has suffered a setback after its meteoric rise.

Taylor Chip will close its two Philadelphia locations and file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to “protect the long-term future of the brand,” the company announced in a release.
