Water Street Mission opens new center in Lancaster to address food insecurity

LANCASTER, Pa. — Water Street Mission has opened a new outreach hub in the heart of Lancaster City designed to provide groceries, connection and long-term support for families struggling with rising costs and food insecurity.

The newly renovated 12 & 1 Center, located at 121 S. Prince St., serves as a street-level entry point for individuals and families seeking help. The building is a few minutes away from Water Street Mission’s main campus and brings multiple outreach services together under one roof.
