Victim in fatal Lancaster house fire identified

LANCASTER, Pa. — The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office identified the victim that died in Sunday’s house fire in the 600 block of East Walnut Street in Lancaster.

According to a press release, the victim was identified as 66-year-old Rodney Kline of Lancaster City. Kline had been transported to the hospital after the fire at his home. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

An autopsy was performed Monday morning, Feb. 16, which determined that the cause of death was smoke inhalation and thermal burns. The death was ruled as an accident…
