PHOTOS | Vehicle causes gas leak in Ephrata after striking house

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Crews responded to an early-morning gas leak Saturday in Ephrata after a car crashed into a gas meter at a home.

According to a post from Lincoln Fire Company, the car left the road way, went through a fence, hit a tree and finally struck the house in the 200 block of Church Street.

The car struck the gas meter and caused a natural gas release. Crews evacuated the home and secured the leak by around 2 a.m…
