Iconic restaurant chain abruptly closes two central Pa. locations

Primanti Bros. has closed two restaurants in central Pennsylvania.

A spokesman for the Pittsburgh-based chain confirmed over the weekend Primanti closed the establishments at the Capital City Mall in Lower Allen Township and Lancaster Shopping Center in Lancaster County.

“This is not a decision we take lightly,” Ryan Wilkerson, said via a statement. “While we are adjusting our overall footprint to best meet demand, our commitment to both loyal customers in central Pennsylvania and the iconic sandwiches we’ve been serving for almost a century remain unchanged.”…
