Three members of a Pennsylvania family are accused of abusing two children by depriving them of medical and dental care, restraining them and placing one of them in a homemade caged crib, according to prosecutors.
The children’s mother, Ashley Cardona, 31, and their grandmother, Lori Cardona, 53, were arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 25, on charges that included aggravated assault involving children less than 13 years of age, aggravated assault of a victim less than six years of age, false imprisonment and endangering welfare of children.
