Middletown man punches woman multiple times after being woken up: affidavit

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Middletown man is facing charges after reportedly punching a woman on Monday after getting upset that she woke him up to talk about a veterinary appointment, court documents show.

Rickey Edwards, 62, was charged with simple assault (domestic violence) and harassment, according to a news release.

Around 12:43 p.m. on Monday, Highspire Borough police were called to a home on the 300 block of Second Street, where a woman with visible redness and swelling around her left eye met them at the door, according to an affidavit…
