Pet sitter accused of giving Lancaster County dog possible brain damage waives hearing

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lititz man charged with animal cruelty waived his preliminary hearing on Feb. 24 and is heading to trial, according to a news release.

An investigation that started on Jan. 4 showed that Joshua Hess, 26, reportedly struck a French bulldog named Winter three times on the head after it used the bathroom inside the home, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department said.
