Lancaster police working to secure places of worship after Michigan synagogue attack

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Lancaster City Bureau of Police will work to secure places of worship after recent attacks across the country.

On Thursday, a man rammed his vehicle into one of the nation’s largest Reform synagogue in a Detroit suburb and exchanged gunfire with a security guard. While there are no known threats, the department said it will work proactively with religious institutions in the city.
