A Berks County farm owner and proprietor of a popular attraction at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and the York State Fair has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and other offenses related to an alleged incident at his farm in October 2025.
The accused, Justin Steinmetz, 44, owns Steinmetz Family Farm with his wife, Lauren. His farm has operated the popular “Goat Snuggling” attractions at the Pennsylvania Farm Show the York State Fair since 2022.
