Two Lancaster County EMTs Assaulted in Separate Incidents

Two emergency medical technicians in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, were assaulted by patients in separate incidents over the span of four days, authorities say.

According to Lancaster EMS, the first assault took place on Sunday (March 22), when a patient shoved an EMT into a door frame. The impact left the EMT with shoulder and back injuries, requiring hospital treatment.

The second attack occurred Tuesday (March 25) in West Lampeter Township. Police responded to Willow Street Pike and Locust Lane after reports of a patient being combative with paramedics.
