Pistol whipping leads to accidental discharge in York: police

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Police are still investigating what led up to a pistol whipping in York that resulted in the gun going off.

Emergency dispatchers received reports of a shooting on East Church Avenue by Penn Park around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

York City Police Captain Daniel Lentz told CBS 21 that officers are investigating the incident as a “pistol whipping that led to an accidental discharge.”…
