On March 28, 2026, volunteers from the Lincoln Fire Company, with help from the Stevens Fire Company and Ephrata Community Ambulance Association, responded to a vehicle fire near Springville Road and Schoeneck Road in Lancaster County. Crews from Squad and Squrt 16 worked to put out the flames while Tanker 73 provided water support. The scene was cleared after about 45 minutes, and no medical care was needed.
