Ephrata borough to introduce paid parking as local business owners raise concerns

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) β€” Ephrata’s downtown could soon come with a cost, as the borough is planning to roll out paid parking.

The borough said drivers will have the option to pay at a kiosk or on the Park Mobile app, replacing the current two-hour free parking policy.

“It’s complicated for the customers,” Omar Huerta, a business owner, said. “We as business owners feel like we’re going to lose a little bit of business.”…
