LANCASTER, Pa. — Lancaster city officials are moving forward with a sweeping plan to redesign some of its busiest streets, aiming to improve safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
At the center of the proposal is a major shift: converting Orange and King Streets from one-way corridors to two-way traffic. City leaders say the change is designed to slow vehicles down and reduce the risk of serious crashes.
