Felon arrested after police seize 39 guns, meth in search near Lansing

EATON COUNTY, MI – Michigan State Police troopers arrested a man on felony charges after they seized dozens of firearms, ammunition and methamphetamine during a search warrant.

The MSP Manistique Outpost had previously learned of a Garden man, who was a convicted felon, potentially being in possession of firearms. Troopers confirmed that the suspect was a convicted felon and was therefore prohibited from possessing guns or ammunition.

On June 25, the suspect was located in the Gladstone area. Troopers executed a search warrant on the suspect’s vehicle, and the man was taken into custody. During the search of the vehicle, troopers located and seized a black pneumatic gun, a double-edged sword that was a foot-and-a-half inches long, hydrocodone pills and ammunition…
