When Michigan State’s season ended, it was pretty clear what the biggest needs on the roster were.
Tom Izzo was going to have a huge hole at the center position and he needed to address it in the transfer portal despite landing four-star center Ethan Taylor who was the No. 2 center in the 2026 class at one point in time. He was able to address that in the portal with Anton Bonke and he’s hoping for a breakout sophomore year from Jesse McCulloch.
