LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – The annual hot dog eating contest at JJ’s Dog House in downtown Lansing drew six competitors Saturday as part of Fourth of July festivities.
Contestants competed to eat as many hot dogs as possible, with each bite benefiting the Capital Area Humane Society through shelter, medical care and other support. Spectators who were not competing could also attend and eat food at the event.
