IONIA COUNTY, Mich. — Traffic was backed up for hours Monday after a semi-truck swerved to avoid hitting a deer and crashed in Ionia County, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened on the highway near Jordan Lake Road, about eight miles northeast of Clarksville, just after 9 a.m.

Troopers say the semi-truck driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer, hit a guardrail and overturned. No one was injured in the crash.
