LANSING, Mich. (News 10) -After weeks of shooting and a homicide on Lansing’s west side, which killed a 15-year-old boy, residents packed the Westside Neighborhood Association’s Crime and Safety Meeting on Wednesday to discuss public safety and violence prevention.
During the meeting, neighbors asked Lansing Police Chief Robert Backus about community policing, enforcement, and what steps are being taken to prevent future violence.
