Community group calls for end to Lansing’s Flock Safety contract

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – A group of community members gathered Sunday at the Capital Area District Library to call for an end to the city of Lansing’s contract with Flock Safety.

The group, Deflock Lansing, said Flock Safety cameras collect more than license plate data — recording additional features about vehicles and storing that information in a digital file.
