LANSING, MI — The YMCA of Lansing as announced community leaders Kellie Dean and Marilyn Dean of Dean Transportation, along with Michigan State University’s Tom Izzo and Lupe Izzo, will serve as honorary chairs of The Legacy of Magic Gala, taking place Saturday, Aug. 22, from 5-8 p.m. at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
The gala, hosted by the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing, will honor Earvin “Magic” Johnson and the Johnson Family while celebrating Johnson’s extraordinary journey from his youthful start at the YMCA of Lansing to become one of the world’s most influential athletes, entrepreneurs and philanthropists, according to a press release.
