LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Lansing Mayor Andy Schor will join developers from Novi Properties on Wednesday to celebrate the start of construction on a redevelopment project at 820 Miller Road.
The project has received approval for a Brownfield Plan and accelerated reimbursement loan, a Facade Improvement Grant and a Revitalization and Placemaking Grant.
The long-vacant property will be transformed into a mixed-use development featuring a laundromat, event space, brunch restaurant and other commercial businesses.
The former site of the nightclub Auggie’s will be divided into two spaces — one for an event venue and another for a restaurant that developer James Denning hopes will become a brunch destination.
