Major Lansing highway ramp shut down until Thursday

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Michigan Department of Transportation is closing a major highway ramp near Lansing starting at 9 a.m. today. The closure affects the ramp connecting westbound I-96 to southbound I-69.

MDOT says the project involves crews applying high-friction surface treatment and an epoxy overlay to the ramp. The work is scheduled to take place throughout the week and will require a full shutdown of the affected area.
