LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Lansing City Council members talked potential utility hikes and public transporation cuts in the city at a Monday evening meeting.
The committee heard statements from Lansing Board of Water and Light General Manager Dick Peffley making his case for why the city should approve his proposed hikes in electrical and water rates as well as details from Capital Area Transporation Authority leadership, about the transit agency cutting the number of bus trips they currently provide.
