LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Labor Day gave many Mid-Michigan workers a chance to step away from their jobs Monday, but for some Lansing residents, the rising cost of everyday necessities remains difficult to escape.
A new Labor Day Snapshot from the Michigan League for Public Policy found Michigan’s inflation-adjusted median wage increased slightly in 2025, rising from $23.61 to $23.69 per hour.
