LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – With fall officially underway, Michigan State Police are reminding drivers to be prepared for changing road conditions and other seasonal hazards.
State police said shorter days, falling leaves and cooler temperatures can create unique challenges for drivers. Reduced daylight can limit visibility, while wet or fallen leaves can obscure road markings and make pavement slippery. Cooler weather also can affect both road conditions and vehicles.
