EATON COUNTY, Mich. — At 9:00 a.m. troopers from the MSP Lansing Post responded to a car vs pedestrian crash on south I-69 near M-100 highway.
Preliminary investigation shows that a 52-year-old male from Dewitt, Michigan pulled onto the shoulder of the expressway to check his trailer that was having some mechanical issues. As a victim was checking his trailer, a vehicle traveling south on I-69 struck him, leaving the scene without stopping to check on the victim.
The victim suffered serious injuries from the crash and was transported to University of Michigan Hospital in Lansing…
