It was a happy homecoming at Lakewood.
Senior running back Michael Goodemoot returned the opening kickoff 54-yards to fire everybody up, rushed for a quick score, and junior quarterback Max Thrun rushed for three touchdowns as the Lakewood varsity football team took a 28-16 win over visiting Lansing Catholic in Capital Area Activities Conference White Division play at Unity Field Friday, Oct. 9.
Goodemoot and junior safety Bubby Wilkins tied for the team lead with nine tackles each. Wilkins intercepted two passes and Goodemoot had a sack. Sophomore Wyatt Sorensen had three tackles and an interception as well for the Vikings…
