LANSING, Mich. – As we look ahead to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s State of the State address Wednesday, Republican leaders met in Lansing previewing her proposals. At a roundtable, House Minority Leader Matt Hall (R – Richland Township) said Wednesday’s State of the State is what he calls the governor’s greatest hits, ideas that are meant to get attention and are short term, and went on to say they don’t generate economic growth.
