LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A former General Motors plant in Lansing is one step closer to redevelopment thanks to new state funding. On Tuesday, the Michigan Strategic Fund board approved just under $19 million in funding from the Strategic Site Readiness Program to be used for redeveloping the former Lansing Car Assembly plant on Verlinden Avenue.
