The building on fire appears to have been a home that was abandoned next to an old Admiral gas station on the 7000 block of East Saginaw in front of Meijer.

The gas station next to the burning building was no longer in business and closed, according to a firefighter on the scene.

No one was injured in or fighting this fire and the cause remains under investigation.
