State police seize several guns and drugs in the Lansing area. Several guns were seized during traffic stops over two days. Michigan State Police (MSP) said through Jan 16-18, troopers worked the Secured Cities Partnership (SCP) with the Lansing Violent Crimes Initiative. There they were able to seize six firearms from traffic stops in Lansing. Two teenagers were arrested and taken to the youth facility and 4 adults were arrested and taken to Lansing City Jail on multiple felony charges. MSP said three of the firearms were stolen, one firearm had the serial number rubbed out, one machine gun conversion device was seized, a stolen vehicle was recovered and methamphetamine was seized.
