Minor injuries sustained – unknown if the incidents are linked. Information provided by the Lansing Police Department. LANSING, Ill. (February 16, 2024) – On Thursday, February 15, at 8:28 p.m., the Lansing Police Department responded to the 18500 block of Wildwood Avenue for a shots fired call. Officers located shell casings and broken glass in the area. A short time later, it was learned that two individuals arrived at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana in a vehicle with numerous bullet holes in it. The individuals were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and released from the hospital.
