The unbeaten Mason wrestling team has earned the No. 4 seed in Division 2 for the final stages of the Michigan High School Athletic Association state tournament.
Lakewood, the other Greater Lansing program to claim a regional title, is the No. 8 seed in Division 3.
The seeds were unveiled Sunday for the team state finals, which will take place Friday and Saturday at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.
Mason (23-0) will face No. 5 seed Monroe Jefferson (28-0) in its quarterfinal at 6:45 p.m. Friday. The winner will advance to face top seed Lowell (19-3) or Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice (17-7) at noon Saturday.
Lakewood (24-6) will face top seed Dundee (15-5) at 4:30 p.m. Friday in a quarterfinal. The winner will advance to face No. 4 seed Bronson (28-8) or No. 5 Manchester (28-7) at noon Saturday.
