LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A report released this month finds that Advanced Peace Lansing prevented 41 shootings in the last two years. Advance Peace is an initiative led by the Michigan Public Health Institute. The organization says they treat gun violence like a public health issue, intervening in violence and providing resources to those who show risks.
