LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– A crash involving a semi-truck and a van killed three people last night in Eaton County .
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday at the Mt. Hope Highway and Cochran Road intersection.
Investigators say the driver of the van failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by the semi-truck. The driver and two of the three kids died on the scene of the crash.
The third child, along with the semi-truck driver, was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
