Cristo Rey Community Center receiving $1 million to upgrade health care operations

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – A special check presentation from Senators Sam Singh and Sarah Anthony to Catholic Charities of Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties will occur on Wednesday, October 2 at 3 p.m. It’ll be worth $1 million and will go to support the expansion of health services at the Cristo Rey Community Center in Lansing.

The current CEO of Cristo Rey, Joe Garcia, spoke to 6 News anchors Jorma Duran and Megan Viecelli about where this money will go, and why it’ll be so important to thousands of people.
