LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Grand Ledge Fire Department is warning local residents about a scam.
The agency posted on Facebook Saturday that several residents had called about scammers claiming to be with the Grand Ledge Fire Association and asking for donations. The department reports it never solicits donations in this way and it is funded through a millage.
They are warning residents not to give their credit card or bank information to the callers.
