Someone recently overheard one of my semi-weekly “I wish we had a Sonic” mumblings and mentioned they’d never been. “What’s so great about Sonic?” they asked. Michigan has more than a dozen Sonic locations, but none of them are in the central part of the state. They’re generally clustered around Detroit and Grand Rapids, with a few stragglers.
