LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — We continue to see the gloomy grey weather for the weekend with mostly cloudy skies. Unfortunately gloomy weather continues into the remainder of the weekend and continues into the work week ahead.
Waking up this morning temperatures are in the mid to upper 40s with cloudy skies, we remain dry thanks to a high pressure system overhead, typically high pressure systems mean dry and clear skies that is not the case for today as we see a little bit of moisture close to the surface that is allowing for clouds to stay trapped in the forecast.
Daytime highs for today will be in the low to mid 50s with those cloudy skies sticking with us into the evening and into tomorrow. Tonight temperatures drop into the low 40s.
A weak cold front moves in for tomorrow and could trigger a few showers as it moves through. Temperatures continue to remain slightly above average for Sunday in the mid to upper 50s with more clouds than sunshine.
Kicking off the work week we will see a pattern change that will bring multiple chances for rain, while it won’t be a wash out there are a few chances for showers and steady rain mainly Monday night into Tuesday morning and again Wednesday night into Thursday.
