LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested a 26-year-old woman from Jackson County Around midnight on New Year’s Eve for stabbing a 33-year-old woman from Mason.
According to deputies, they were called to the 400 block of Waldo Rd. in Wheatfield Township, about five miles northeast of Mason, just before midnight on Tuesday.
Deputies found the woman from Mason stabbed in the chest. Deputies say she told them who stabbed her and this led to the other person’s arrest.
Emergency responders rushed the woman to the hospital where she is expected to live.
The unnamed suspect was booked into the Ingham County jail. Charges from eh county prosecutor remain pending.
