LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Police in Lansing responded to a shooting late Thursday night that sent people running from a large party in downtown Lansing. Lansing Police told News 10 that the shooting happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Washington Square, near the intersection with Allegan St.
Shortly after the shooting, a man in his 20’s walked into an area hospital with gunshot wounds. Police said he was shot several times in both his upper and lower body but he is expected to survive.
Police told News 10 Friday morning that a person of interest was seen fleeing the scene on foot. No photo or name of the individual was provided, but he was described as a hispanic male also in his 20’s…
