As disappointing as tonight was, I’m encouraged because in May’s first year, he took a totally rebuilt, almost hodge-podge roster, and he brought them to the Sweet 16.
Our talent is not yet elite, but May is just getting started. The better team won tonight. And in the very near future, in these exact situations, that better team will be us.
