NEW HAVEN, Mich. (WNEM) – Sunday, March 30, 2025 brought a line of severe thunderstorms through multiple states including Michigan. The Mitten state saw seven confirmed tornadoes through the Lower Peninsula with one locally in Shiawassee County.
The New Haven Township tornado was an EF-1 strength with peak winds of 90mph. The storm was on the ground for about two minutes and travel a half of a mile. The width of the tornado was 100 yards.
