I don’t envy the lives of police officers at all as there are tons of people out there who honor and respect them but there is also a large number of people who don’t care for the police or are afraid of them. Police are expected to be brave in every situation known to man as their lives are always in danger. Even though their careers are extremely dangerous, they have some of the best stories.
Can you imagine the things that cops have gone through? and I’m not talking about the petty things like catching someone speeding or responding to shoplifting incident. I’m thinking of the crazy scenarios like standoffs, raids, and other wild adventures they encounter while on duty. Sometimes those stories make your adrenaline rush, and your hair stand up but other times they are wholesome. Wild things happen to police in Michigan all the time.
Lansing Police Encounter Unusual Critter During Call
While on a weekend call multiple Lansing police officers were startled when they discovered a scaly critter that they weren’t expecting to see. There were several photos posted to the Lansing Police Department’s Facebook page that showed the officers holding the small reptile with smiles on their faces.
The critter turned out to be an alligator that was surrendered to the Ingham County Animal Control to find a suitable home. Lansing residents are restricted by city ordinances to the types of pets they are allowed to have and wild animals, including alligators, are prohibited…
